Final Report of Priority Action A-040-20

The purpose of this focal action was the targeted testing of food supplements that are predominantly offered to school children. 61 samples from all over Austria were examined and assessed. Twelve samples were objected to (in some cases several times):

eleven samples were objected to in accordance with the Food Information Regulation
eight samples were objected to due to violation of the requirements of the Ordinance on Nutrition and Health Claims
four samples were objected due to misleading - disease-related claims
one sample did not comply with the requirements of the Lot Labelling Regulation
