Until further notice, the import of fresh meat from farmed and wild susceptible animals as well as raw milk from the restricted zones of Hungary and the Slovak Republic (around the FMD outbreak farms in Hungary and Slovakia) is prohibited. In addition, it is generally not advisable to bring food of animal origin, such as meat, ham, sausage, milk and dairy products, into Austria (see FMD Emergency Measures Ordinance)
