Summary
ROADS aims at elaborating needs and basics for a technologically supported measure matching in case of a pandemic. A technological concept (tool) will be created that will specify the respective steps in pandemic management in order to adapt measures to the given situation and probable scenarios.
Project description
National and international data, approaches and experiences of the current COVID-19 crisis will be processed in the project in order to work out immediate effects as well as far-reaching impacts in order to be able to assess upcoming scenarios. For this purpose, a technological concept (tool) will be developed, which specifies the respective steps in pandemic management in order to adapt measures to the given situation and probable scenarios. This measure matching as decision support shall be based on the existing framework platform "Portfolio of Solutions" (POS). By means of semi-automated links, the POS platform enables user-friendly, clear dashboard displays for targeted and needs-based analyses, models and decisions.
Benefit of the project
The innovative content of the project is based on the lessons learned from the COVID 19 crisis and results from the combination of practical experience from crisis management, the needs of critical infrastructure, and scientific findings and studies. From this, an action management plan is created, which decision-makers can use to make assessments and prioritizations in specific areas.
