Last year, we analysed over 12,000 drinking water samples from all over Austria: For possible contamination, e.g. by faecal bacteria, but also for the content of chemical components and pollutants.

In this way, we help to maintain the excellent quality of drinking water in Austria.

We analyse drinking water from municipal water supply systems and public utilities throughout Austria, from water cooperatives to private well owners and food companies. However, we not only analyse drinking water, but also bathing water and bathing waters. We have also analysed over 1,700 hot water samples for legionella. These bacteria can cause severe pneumonia, known as Legionnaires' disease.
