The aim of the focus campaign was to examine the slimes and slime-like products on the Austrian market.

33 samples from all over Austria were analysed. Eight samples were rejected (in some cases several times):

One sample due to a safety deficiency (hygiene)
Three samples had labelling deficiencies
Four samples due to a missing or inadequate EC declaration of conformity

No exceedance of the specified migration limits (in particular boron) was detected during this campaign.
