For planned exposure situations, i.e. at least one employee with a radon dose greater than 6 mSv/a, a Radon Protection Officer (RnSchB) must be appointed in accordance with the Radiation Protection Act 2020 § 84. In April 2023, AGES GmbH was recognised by the Ministry of Climate Protection as the first training centre for radon protection officers in Austria. - inform the responsible person immediately of any deficiencies in radon protection that are identified and make suggestions for their rectification.
