National Reference Laboratory for Antibiotic Resistance
Since 06.11.2006, our Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hygiene/Center for Foodborne Infectious Diseases in Graz has been entrusted with the tasks of a National Reference Laboratory for Antibiotic Resistance and is part of our Public Health Business Unit.
The NRL is an accredited testing laboratory according to EN ISO/IEC 17025 and the tests performed are routinely carried out according to international standards. The quality of the results is ensured by participation in international interlaboratory comparisons.
